Use a Cricut machine to cut large vinyl projects without smart vinyl. This technique tricks the machine into accepting standard vinyl for XL decal projects, even for RV customization. It allows for color matching when specific smart vinyl shades are unavailable.

The Cricut smart vinyl hack you didn’t know you needed! My mom tasked me with cutting out the decals to replace the old ones on the front of her RV - but the only issue was I couldn’t find the right color smart vinyl to color match the rest of the decals on the RV and decal was long.. so it wasn’t going to work if I tried to cut it out on a mat.. so I decided to try and trick my machine into thinking I was cutting smart vinyl.
